MIAMI REALTORS® supports the Florida Supreme Court workgroup combating the sham and vexatious litigation directed at our members

In December of 2021, the Florida Supreme Court launched a Workgroup on Sanctions for Vexatious and Sham Litigation. Its goal is to overhaul rules and laws to prevent harassing litigation in noncriminal cases. In support of that workgroup, MIAMI REALTORS® sent the workgroup a letter of support on May 26, 2022, based on the overwhelming number of baseless demand letters and lawsuits our members have faced in the past two years. That letter and our research is HERE.
