FAQs Answers for 2024-2025 Billing
PAYMENT PLANS & STATUS CHANGES
“How many payments can I make?”
Your best choice is to pay IN FULL by June 5 because you save $75 and receive incentives valued up to $800. However, for a third consecutive year we are offering a three (3) payment or a five (5) payment option. Our payment plan options are available with no additional fees as long as the credit card charge is not declined.
What happens when I enter into a three or five payment plan and one of my payments fails?
If one of your payments is declined, all services will be suspended until the issue has been resolved. In addition, a $30 processing fee will be added after 24 hours for EACH failed payment. PLEASE NOTE: all remaining payment dates will stay the same, regardless of the date when any payment fails to authorize.
Do I still have to pay my dues if I place my license as voluntarily Inactive?
No. When you notify us your license is voluntarily “Inactive” in DBPR, you are under no obligation to pay your annual dues. However, if you decide to activate your license any time prior to July 1 of the following year, the amount due for your membership to Florida REALTORS®, the National Association of REALTORS® and the MIAMI Association of REALTORS® will not be prorated and payment options may be limited.

How does MIAMI RPAC impact me?
RPAC plays a significant role in shaping the political landscape for Realtor members, advocating for their interests, providing representation, access to policymakers, and protection from adverse regulations. In 2024, RPAC played a pivotal role in securing monumental victories during the 2024 Legislative Session, directly benefiting not only the real estate profession but also property owners and communities throughout Florida.

FR (Florida Realtors)
When will FR increase take effect?
FAR dues increase will take effect beginning in 2025 fiscal year which we are billing for now.
When was the last Florida Realtors dues increase?
It has been 14 years since our last dues increase (2010), when dues were
increased by $16, from $100 to $116.
What are some of the member services that have been added since 2010?
The entire Research Department including SunStats, the Member Rewards
program, Form Simplicity, Education Scholarship support, expanded Global
Business program, upgraded member website, upgraded MLS Advantage, Learn
Upon Professional Development online education platform, Florida Realtors Board
Certified Professional program, Florida Realtors Young Professional Network,
REBarCamp, The Voice, virtual meeting capabilities, expanded convention
programming and others.
Why is an increase necessary?
To handle rising operational and legal costs, offset potential reduced
membership and invest in activities that will further the organization’s future
success and health.
What will the increase be used for?
If adopted, the dues increase will support three primary initiatives: operations,
innovation, and industry-related legal costs.
Is $30 enough of an increase?
There were many conversations about the appropriate amount to increase dues
to meet the goals described above. The Finance Committee determined that $30 is
sufficient and positions Florida Realtors for future success.
Is the increase large enough to be implemented over several years?
The Finance Committee decided to implement the $30 dues increase in 2025 so
Florida Realtors could fully support the above-mentioned initiatives. This has also
been the association’s historical practice during years with dues increases.
Did the Finance Committee consider an annual increase tied to the Consumer Price Index?
All options were explored. The Finance Committee decided to implement a onetime increase to support the initiatives described above.
Will Florida Realtors’ dues increase prevent local associations from raising dues?
Every local association reviews the services provided to their members and
raises dues when necessary. The Finance Committee does not use national or
local dues to set state dues. Rather, it conducts in-depth research into setting
appropriate levels to fund its current and future services.
Is Florida Realtors raising dues to cover NAR’s legal fees because of the
recent jury verdicts?
Florida Realtors is not increasing dues to pay NAR’s legal bills. Florida Realtors
will use the additional dues for its own member services and initiatives.
