Description: Item R5 W – Miami Beach Commissioner Alex Fernandez is introducing an ordinance that would require condominium associations to approve or deny rental and ownership applications within 15 business days—or refund the application fee. REALTOR® members have voiced concerns over the excessive delays caused by some associations and management companies. As a result, MIAMI REALTORS® is supporting this proposed ordinance. If you have a personal experience to share, we encourage you to sign up to testify at the hearing. Speakers will be given up to 2 minutes.
